Last Wednesday, August 12th, Portugal witnessed a near total eclipse, and total in a few regions of the north.
To make something different too, TSAS organized a meet for friends & fans to gather and have some fun. Any event is an excuse for partying and picnic, right?
Even before dark, at the peak of 7:30 pm, it was amazing to see how everything took on a sepia tone for a couple of minutes. Interesting phenomenon.
Curiously, the gathering was supposed to go until the end of the afternoon or end of eclipse at 8:30 pm, but it lasted a few more hours, into the night, which was a great sign.
