Electro funk and JSR influences
A dance version of “Chou Cream Funk”, ending song from the anime Mashle: Magic and Muscles (Season 1), is now out! All sounds and vocals were re-recorded and TSAS went for a more electronic funk approach. If you’re a fan of Jet Set Radio’s music you’ll enjoy for sure.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles & Cream Puffs
Mashle: Magic and Muscles combines several elements of One-Punch Man and Harry Potter (some say it looks like a Parody of HP movies) and specific traits of manga and anime, with a decent dose of humor.
The ending theme is a song about the choux cream or cream puff (“Shu cream”), the favorite food of the main character of the show, Mash Burnedead. Mash is always eating them and even protects them as if his life is at stake.
The original song “Chou Cream Funk” was written by Kaz Kuwamura, Kentaro, and performed by PHILOSOPHY NO DANCE (Dance of Philosophy), a Japanese idol group (2015–2026). The song was the sixth major single of PHILOSOPHY NO DANCE.
