TSAS 1st electro version of a Sonic title!
One might think why TSAS hasn’t done any electro/dance versions of Sonic games music before. Sonic the Hedgehog is known by many. Perhaps because there are so many versions out there?… However there’s still room for one more!
The artist decided to pick the music from the level “Chemical Plant Zone” in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. This one is fire and very catchy, although the rest of the music is very good too!

About the original composer
Masato Nakamura is the original composer of the theme and many other titles. On 2011 an album with both soundtracks of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2, came out. It featured the Mega Drive versions and Masa’s demo versions as well. Worth checking out (here) !
Case you don’t know, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a 1992 platform game developed by Sega. First one came out in 1990, for the handheld 8-bit platform: Game Gear, and in 1991 for Mega Drive, 16-bit console.
